Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll for training?

Once you decide on the qualification or training that you need, contact us by simply licking the “Contact Us” button on this website, or emailing our training team. Let us know what training you would like to undertake and we will get you started.

Under current New South Wales (NSW) state legislation all apprenticeships commencing after 1 July 2018 are free. This applies only to apprentices living in NSW. If you are starting an apprenticeship in a state other than NSW, contact the relevant apprenticeship body in your state for apprenticeship support details.

You are responsible for all course fees and charges. Course results will not be issued until all fees and charges have been paid. Depending on your situation the actual payment may be made by your employer or the government or someone else. Ensure you indicate on this form who is paying your fees and charges.

Please read the Billing Requirements and Penalties in the student information booklet for full details. If you have any questions, please contact us before completing is form.

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a code that uniquely identifies you and any qualifications you have gained. It provides an online record of your VET training undertaken in Australia. Without a USI you can not get Commonwealth financial assistance or your qualification or statement of attainment.

If you do not have a USI, we can apply for one on your behalf or you can apply directly to the Australian government via their website.

Please Note—Your Name:
When entering you name on this form, use the name you used when you applied for your USI, including any middle names. Ensure your name is written exactly as it appears on your proof of identity evidence. If you have only one name that can not be written as ‘First name Last name’, tick the single name only box and enter your name in the Family name section.

All VET courses have an Australian Core Skills Framework level which is expected for all enrolling students. If you do not meet this level you may require additional assistance to complete your desired course.

If your course has a CASA outcome, you will be required by CASA to prove your ability to read, write, understand and speak English.

If you have undertaken your school education in Australia, please attach a transcript showing the highest level of English achieved. (HSC, leaving certificate, etc.). If you have undertaken your school education in an English Speaking country (a country where English is their first language), please provide a  transcript showing the highest English level achieved.

If you have undertaken your school education in a non-English speaking country, or a country where English is not the primary language, you will be required to undertake an English Proficiency test at your own expense. You must attach a copy of the test results to this application.

Pre-requisites are qualification or other formal study you are required to hold before you can enroll in a course. The pre-requisites for your course are detailed in the course information. If you have any questions, please consult us to determine the exact pre-requisites for your chosen course.

By signing the Qualification Statement on this form, you are stating you currently posses all the required pre-requisites. Results may be jeopardized if it is found you do not hold the required pre-requisites. Ensure you attach a certified copy of your completed pre-requisite results.
